There's probably no point in getting this for hair below shoulder length. It's easy to curl, but it holds somewhat poorly. Some have clips, some don't, but taking it off is already more difficult. Most of the time, it gets tangled and the result is not what you want.

These are great. You should buy clips with them. It's just the right amount to neatly distribute all the strands. The diameter is perfect for shoulder-length hair. It adds volume. A good alternative if you don't want to over-dry with a hairdryer and curling iron.
