The color is vibrant and the formula is truly long-lasting (although it doesn't set like gel, it is still high-quality). The taupe shade has a subtle hint of gray, mostly appearing as a light brown. The swatches shown in the image above are taken with the main camera, while the two lower ones are taken with the macro lens. I tried smudging a part of the swatch with my finger, but in reality, the pencil doesn't create such clumps, as it is very soft.
