The quality is not suitable for perfumes. It does not smell like basil. There are too many balsamic notes, one might even mistake it for juniper.

Yes, this basil is slightly sweet, spicy, and green. There is no chemical odor. It is my first time buying from this producer and I was pleasantly surprised. The oil is truly high quality, it did not cause any allergies on my skin, and the scent lasted quite long, probably around 5-6 hours. It is perfect for a bath, it somehow calms and relieves stress, it "clears the mind" so to speak. I definitely recommend it.
I was pleasantly surprised with this product. The bottle is well designed, and it even has the name in Latin. When I tested it on a blotter, the stain practically disappeared, which means that the manufacturer did not add any carrier oil. Therefore, it is practically the 100% essential oil they claim it to be. Considering the price, I am very satisfied.
