Hydrophilic Oil "Lemon Tea Tree" - Saloos
I really love the other oils from this brand. However, this one is terrible. It leaves a greasy film on my face and doesn't emulsify well with water. It feels like smearing sunflower oil on my face.
I don't have much to wash off. I agree that it's not very pleasant to use a cotton pad on the skin, and there is no dispenser for hands. But somehow I got used to it - I pour it into my hand, pat it on my face, and rinse it off with warm water. That's it, clean, dry, and non-drying. When water gets on it and I rub it a little, it becomes cloudy and foams slightly.
I really liked this oil. It removes makeup well - I used it as the first product, on dry hands, applied it to my face, left it for a bit, then rinsed it off with water. After that, I continued with the next steps of cleansing using other products (foam, toner). The scent seemed neutral to me, without any complaints. It doesn't dry out the skin. In terms of dosage, it pours out a lot, making it difficult to control at first. The glass bottle is a plus.
The oil is just like any other oil. I compared it to a cheap coconut oil for hair and body and didn't notice any significant difference. I can only hope that this oil is better for the face, although I still wash it off afterwards.
Ladies, if you're considering purchasing this oil, think twice. Using it is unpleasant - it's too thick, like smearing regular sunflower oil on your face. It has an unpleasant smell, similar to the "Lotus" laundry detergent from the 90s. It doesn't have a dispenser and spills out uncontrollably. It removes makeup adequately, but I have something to compare it to. I previously used coconut hydrophilic oil from the same brand, which was much better, albeit not perfect. Recently, I bought a Korean one, and it's like night and day! Seriously, this series is very disappointing! If you're choosing your first hydrophilic oil, don't go for this one. It might disappoint you and make you reluctant to try other hydrophilic oils, even though they work wonders when combined with other products in the Korean 10-step skincare routine.
This product is absolutely terrible. I tried using it for a long time, but it just didn't work for me. I applied it directly and mixed it with water, on both dry and wet skin, using cotton pads and my hands. It doesn't effectively remove makeup, not even waterproof mascara. The oil doesn't dissolve completely in water, so it's impossible to wash it off - it leaves a disgusting film on the skin. The bottle has a small volume and no pump, making it inconvenient to use. And to top it off, the product went bad quickly. I do not recommend it!
This product is mediocre. It dissolves makeup very poorly. It doesn't even fully remove regular mascara, and if you had black eyeliner on as well, you'll end up with the panda effect. When it comes into contact with water, the oil doesn't turn into milk, but instead remains as a thick, greasy film on the skin. As a result, there are dirty, oily marks on the tube or bottle of the cleanser, which are not easy to wash off, it's disgusting. The absence of a dispenser in the packaging is also a big downside to this oil. The price and quality are absolutely not worth all the hype surrounding this product during its use.
I use this shaving emulsion for my legs. I wet my legs with water, apply the emulsion, and shave. I really like it because the shaving is smooth (thanks to its excellent glide), and my legs feel moisturized after shaving.
I love the hydrophilic oils from this series. I've tried many, but so far, bergamot has been the best fit for me, and it has a more pleasant scent. This one, on the other hand, is hardly noticeable and not very appealing on its own. However, they all equally do a great job at removing makeup.
I didn't quite understand this product. Using it with a cotton pad, as stated in the instructions, was not enjoyable - it doesn't cleanse well and stretches the skin unnecessarily. Applying it directly on dry skin is inconvenient because there is no dispenser, and it only cleanses the skin moderately. It doesn't work well as a one or two-step product - micellar water is necessary. It was difficult to dissolve swatches on the hand. So, I can't say it doesn't work, but I expected better results. Also, the price is not low, so you could get a Korean product for that money.
I became hooked on Korean skincare products and their skincare system in general. Everyone uses hydrophilic products, so I decided to give it a try. However, I prefer to try unfamiliar liquids in small quantities and at a minimal price. That's when I came across this Czech oil. I am extremely satisfied, really, very satisfied! It removes makeup effortlessly in one go. I simply apply it in patches, massage it all over my face, and then rinse it off. Even long-lasting mascara comes off easily with just a few drops on a cotton pad. After using this oil, I don't feel any greasiness on my skin. It's evident that my skin is moisturized and nourished. I don't wash my face with anything else after using it at night, but in the morning, I do feel a bit oily and need to use a foam or gel cleanser before applying makeup. Overall, I now have an indispensable cleanser and makeup remover in one bottle. Thank you, Makeup, for the always prompt delivery and the gifts.
The oil works great. I apply it on a damp sponge and damp skin. It removes perfectly and the consumption is minimal. It gives a feeling of lightness and doesn't tighten the skin at all.
The oil is great. I use it as a facial cleanser. It is even suitable for oily skin, as it does not dry it out and keeps the skin matte all day long.
The smell is amazing! I really like it, and I can still smell it for several hours after applying it! It cleanses well, the only downside for me is the small size. The 50ml bottle runs out very quickly.
This product is an excellent tool for the skin and incredibly convenient.
The oil is good, but you should take a larger quantity.
