Reviews about NYX Professional Makeup Ultimate Edit Petite Shadow Palette

This palette is absolutely useless. I bought it in a store, not here, in the shade Phoenix (mostly for the red color). The pigmentation is almost non-existent, even with a white base from Nyx, and using colored primers for such shades is absurd. It's easier to just buy a pigmented palette instead of buying 7 pencils separately.

Another downside (for me) is that the red shade turns very pink on the eyes.

I absolutely do not recommend it.

These eyeshadows do not crumble, they are highly pigmented, and they make for great everyday and evening makeup looks. I am satisfied with my purchase.

It's worth using them with a eyeshadow base for a better appearance. I purchased the warm neutrals palette. It's suitable for everyday use. Good eyeshadows, with very delicate shades. The pigmentation is average. The golden shades go on like loose glitter. All the eyeshadows are dry, the golden shades are not creamy.

I tried the Ultimate Utopia palette and I must say, the colors are absolutely stunning. Every single shade is beautiful, without exception. In my opinion, this palette is perfect for creating festive and evening looks.

Absolute favorite. pleasantly surprised by the good pigmentation and soft warm shades (I got it in the shade Warm Neutrals). Girls with blue eyes, this is your masterpiece. The makeup in the photo was completely done with this palette.

The pigmentation is average, but if applied on a base and layered, it will appear brighter. The matte shades are decent, but the shimmery ones are simply fantastic. I apply the shimmery shades with my fingertips on my eyes, and it looks incredible.

Disappointment. I bought NYX for the first time. I expected "wow," but in reality, it's just terrible. The pigmentation is poor, and it easily flakes off. It's impossible to achieve a smooth and shiny finish, whether applied with a brush or fingers. I recommend buying Lamel instead.

Fast delivery. The eyeshadows are of poor quality. They lack pigmentation (on the eyes), they crumble and apply unevenly. It's even hard to call them chalk-like. I applied them over a NYX base, but there wasn't a significant difference. This palette needs a colored liner (pencil, lipstick). I gave them many chances, but they didn't live up to them. Definitely not recommended.

Excellent!! I purchased the Warm Neutrals palette - warm red tones. The pigmentation is not extremely vibrant, as I would have liked. It applies much better on the Artdeco base than on the NYX concealer. You can create both a very light Japanese makeup look and something very bold with this palette. It blends and smudges beautifully when applied with fingers.

I tried the Ultimate Utopia palette. Overall, I liked it. One downside is that the two shimmer shades tend to fall out onto the lower lid and under the eyes throughout the day. If applied over a base, this effect is minimized, but they cannot be layered or applied too heavily (they start to crumble). The matte shades are well-pigmented and blend easily. Even if I apply the glitter shades on top of the matte shadows, some still end up on the lower lid and under the eyes.

It's unclear why people on the internet criticize these palettes. I was pleasantly surprised. The quality is good, comparable to Maybelline The Nudes. My favorites are Ash and Ultimate Utopia.

The "brights" are like children's crayons, but I hope that with a base, they will be as vibrant as shown in the pictures. I have mixed feelings after purchasing them, but the delivery was excellent. The palette came with some bubble wrap, so the product's appearance is perfect, a solid 10/10.

I purchased this palette in the Warm Neutrals shade.

1. The eyeshadows are highly pigmented and long-lasting, but they blend well (I bought the Lamel Professional Eye Blending Brush Long to use with them).

It's easy to go overboard, so it's better to apply them carefully, layering the color.

2. The color combination is really cool: light and dark, natural and more vibrant + shimmery. It has everything you need, nothing extra!

This palette is perfect for green eyes.
If you can get it on sale, it's even better value for money.

I absolutely love these eyeshadows and all products from this brand in general. I own all the palettes from this series, except for Brights (although I plan on getting it too). If you simply apply them on the eyelids, the color won't be vibrant and they won't last until the evening. However, if you apply them correctly, on a base under the eyeshadow, the color will be rich and they will last long without creasing. They are easy to use and blend well. The matte shades tend to have a bit of fallout, but that's normal for matte eyeshadows. I highly recommend getting them!
