This product works well as a makeup base, whether for foundation or powder, as it helps to even out the texture of the skin. I initially thought of using this product on its own, but it doesn't cover imperfections at all, such as pigmentation spots, pimples, and under-eye circles. There are shimmers, but they are barely visible on the skin and they don't highlight the skin like a liquid highlighter, which I usually mix into my foundation. Overall, personally, I don't find this product particularly useful.
