Yes, this basil is slightly sweet, spicy, and green. There is no chemical odor. It is my first time buying from this producer and I was pleasantly surprised. The oil is truly high quality, it did not cause any allergies on my skin, and the scent lasted quite long, probably around 5-6 hours. It is perfect for a bath, it somehow calms and relieves stress, it "clears the mind" so to speak. I definitely recommend it.

When I tested it on a blotter, the stain practically disappeared, which means that the manufacturer did not add any carrier oil. Therefore, it is practically the 100% essential oil they claim it to be. Considering the price, I am very satisfied.

The quality is not suitable for perfumes. It does not smell like basil. There are too many balsamic notes, one might even mistake it for juniper.
