This is indeed a great mask, considering the price. It softens the hair and makes it more voluminous and manageable. However, I didn't understand the reviews of other girls about the "specific smell" until I purchased it myself. It smells like old soap in the closet or very ancient grandmother's cosmetics, reminding us of the hardships we grew up with. Because of the smell, I won't buy it again, even though I liked the quality.
For its price, this mask is fantastic. It effectively seals the cuticle. The scent is unique, but not a major issue. My hair is bleached (transitioning from black), porous, and dry at the ends. After using the mask (I leave it on for 10-15 minutes, sometimes even under a heat cap

Just slightly smoother hair, that's all. I won't buy it again. I'm switching to Kay pro, they haven't disappointed me so far.

The first time I ordered, everything was great. However, the second time I ordered, the smell was absolutely disgusting and didn't resemble the scent from this brand at all. Additionally, I noticed that one bottle had a shelf life of 5 years, while another had a shelf life of only 3 years. Could you please explain why the smell and shelf life differ so significantly?
