Long-Lasting Hair Color - Matrix Socolor Beauty
I am adding to the review. The shade number N3 with 6% developer. It covers 50% of grey hair. The coloring results are very nice!
I like the paint. I am using the shade 3N.
I ordered it in a yellow package, but they sent it in a pink one.
I have been using 2N and it effectively covers my gray hair. It fades moderately with each wash, so it is recommended to refresh the color every 3-4 months for vibrant results.
Great paint! I suspect that negative reviews arise from those who are inept at using it.
I have gray and dark hair at level 4. I used a combination of 4n and 5a (30g + 15g) + 45g of 6% developer. I managed to fully cover my gray hair! The color is vibrant and coffee-like. I understand that this result seems too good to be true, but Matrix works on my hair like a nourishing conditioner.
I really liked this hair dye. It covers gray hair well and matches my natural hair color. I will continue using it in the future.
I did not like this hair dye. The shade was 6A. After applying the dye, it washed out like colored water, with the water running separately. The dye seemed like some kind of sand, and it did not color my hair at all. My hair was left without any dye, it remained natural and not gray. I am very dissatisfied. My favorite is the brand Brellil.
Simply awful. I used shade 10sp. My hair turned out with a blue tint. Luckily, the hairdresser had a remover and managed to neutralize this color immediately.
I always choose the shade Clear. I mix it with my favorite color from a different brand if I want a slightly lighter tone. Or I use it alone if I simply want to lighten my existing shade. My hair looks shiny and vibrant.

"I am satisfied with the natural light brown shade of this product. The paint exceeded my expectations."
This is a good hair dye. What are these reviews about? Diluted the dye with one to two parts developer and got a terrible result. What kind of experiments are these on your own head? It's written one to one, why bother with some concoctions and then scare people? The reaction is calculated, it's just chemistry. We put two parts and left it for the specified time, clear as day. Didn't color for 30 minutes, but held it for 40... There are so many instructional videos on YouTube... You just need to learn your shade - don't go from dark to black and don't stay with light and end up bald... I've been friends with only 4n for 5 years. Dark brown, like my natural color. It covers my gray hair by 3% after deep cleansing shampoo. I don't know how it wouldn't work for a level 6 or 9 because my gray hair is as white as snow and shines in dark hair like it's under electric lighting))) It didn't work for me during pregnancy. Well, it did, but the shade came out completely different, with a red undertone. I guess it depends on hormones. Many times during pregnancy, I thought the dye had changed. But no.
Thank you very much for the prompt response regarding the availability of the product. It was my mistake when placing the order (I chose the wrong shade without checking the column during the order). On the same day, I contacted MAKEAP specialist and resolved everything within minutes. The next day, the courier delivered the correct shade, and we made the exchange.
Regarding the paint, the result is wonderful! I am 100% satisfied. Thank you, MAKEUP!
I will definitely collaborate with you again. Wishing you success!
The hair dye is the best for me. I choose the 7C shade in red and mix it in a 1:1 ratio, resulting in a beautiful color that closely matches my natural hair. I usually repeat the coloring process after approximately two months.
This paint is really good. I have been using it for several years now. It has a vibrant and rich color.
I have no complaints about the store, everything is great as always. However, the hair dye is terrible. I have very light blonde hair and I chose shade 10SP. The roots didn't get dyed at all (1 part dye: 2 parts 6% developer). My roots are dark, but based on my experience, I expected a slightly yellowish-red result from this shade, but it only lightened by about half a tone. Along the length of my hair, it turned out horrible. I left it on for 20 minutes and grey-blue tones appeared, resulting in a gray-green-blue-yellow mess on my head. It looked really bad. Thankfully, the dye washed out completely on the first try (even though I only use sulfate-free shampoos), so if this shade still suits you, the dye is not long-lasting. Additionally, the dye has a terrible smell, like some cheap product. Lastly, I had keratin in my hair before dyeing, and it used to be smooth and silky, but afterwards, it became dull and stiff. I am very disappointed and definitely do not recommend this dye. Ladies, don't ruin your hair.
The service is of good quality, and the courier delivers each of my orders right to my doorstep, without any additional payment for delivery.
I like the paint. However, the box arrived dented and the tube was bent. It's always the same. I will return it next time.
Second review. I tried it. Overall, it's not bad.
I like the shade. The hair is closer to the scalp (like bangs, for example), but the color didn't come out perfectly. I left it on for 40 minutes with a 12% developer.
The color is 10 AV.
I deducted 1 star for the smell and the fact that it doesn't cover gray hair.
I have ordered this paint twice and both times received terrible service. It is made in the EU, but it feels like they packed it in the nearest basement and kicked the paint with their foot. Whether it was the first or second order, it was the same experience. The packaging is not damaged, but the paint itself... As for the quality, there are no issues. However, any desire to order something from this website disappears. It's a shame that I can only attach one photo...
I purchased shade 6 AA and a 6% developer from this brand. My hair turned out blue-green. I have never had any complaints about this dye before. This is the first time something like this has happened, maybe they changed the dye that gives this ashy cool shade. I had a good base before, so I have no idea where this green came from.
Here is a photo before and after.
I chose shade 6AA and a 6% developer from the same brand. Personally, I really liked it as the color of the dye matched my natural hair color. Here's a photo right after dyeing it 😍 I will definitely buy Matrix hair dye again. I also want to thank them for the generous amount of dye in one tube. I only needed one, whereas usually I need two tubes of dye when using a different brand.
Complete disappointment. I purchased the red one... After the second wash, it completely faded away.
The paint has deteriorated significantly after the "update." I gave it a second chance hoping that the previous batch was defective, but unfortunately, there was no miracle. The paint washes off quickly and instead of a cool tone, we end up with a warm one that fades into a rusty color. I have always used 5 AV. Maybe someone has switched to a different manufacturer or can recommend a similar color to 5 AV?
I am satisfied with the paint!
This hair dye is amazing! It leaves my hair feeling incredibly soft.
The description states that Color 507N is a natural blonde shade. However, upon application, it turned out to be a natural dark brunette, even darker than expected. I used a 6% oxidizer.
The hair dye is very dark, and the quality of the hair has worsened after toning with a 1.9% oxidant. The color 10N, which is supposed to be natural blonde, came out as a dirty ashy shade, which I didn't like at all. It also significantly darkened my hair.
Hello. I have been using Matrix hair dye for many years and it never disappoints me. Thank you Mike Up for the fast delivery, I constantly order from them. This time the dye came in a new packaging, I haven't tried it yet, but I hope nothing has changed. I always choose the 7N natural color, it's very beautiful and also covers gray hair. This dye is my favorite and it comes in a 90ml tube. I give it 5 stars!
I dyed my natural hair, which had a few gray strands, with the 4NW hair dye. My natural color was chestnut, but I dyed it dark brown. The dye had a strong smell, and the color came out darker than expected, but overall I'm satisfied. In the future, I'll try adding another shade to avoid it looking too uniform. I used a 3% developer, and even though my hair is thin and reaches my shoulders, a whole tube was actually too much. I hope this color will be available for sale again.
Great paint. I have bought it for the second time. I mix it with the lighter shade. That means the roots are dark and the ends are light. Everything is superb. There are absolutely no complaints.
Terrible hair dye. It completely ruined my long hair, making them dry and devoid of any moisture. The hair strands are all frizzy and unmanageable, even with a straightener. It's been nothing but tears... (I used to dye my hair with organic herbal-based dye, and my hair remained healthy.)
The paint is great. I've been searching for the perfect russet color, and this time I mixed 8MA 60g and 6MA 15g. I used 6% Oxide 1:1 for the length along with the numbered mask for toning, and I achieved a beautiful shade. I'm satisfied. It's a pity that there are hardly any shades left in the store. Will the makeup store continue to sell this paint? Will there be any more stock?
I really like this hair dye. I've been using shade 8MA for a year, mixing 50g with 15g of 7A and 6% developer. I apply it to my roots and mix the remaining dye with mask numero for the length, using a base of 6. It lasts for 2 weeks and then fades slightly, but there is no strong redness. It covers gray hair, but for the temples, I apply the dye without developer first and then color as usual. This is a technique for difficult-to-color gray hair. It may sting a little, but it's not an allergic reaction and there is no lasting redness or hair loss. I request that the makeup store restock shade 8MA as it's currently out of stock. I always buy it in advance, but this time there was only one package available and it's been 3 weeks without it. I'm worried because I really like this store and don't want to look for another one. Cold ash brown shades are always in demand and look very natural, with beautiful highlights in the sun.
The paint is fantastic. I bought the shade 10SP, and it is a superb color. I use a 9% developer to touch up my roots. My natural hair color is a light brown (shade 7), and this combination creates a beautiful blonde shade.
I used to have my hair colored with this dye at the salon, but I decided to try it at home. One tube of this dye was more than enough for my long and thick hair (length slightly above my waist). I chose the color 7CG + 6% for a dark blonde shade. The result turned out very natural, with a hint of red only visible in the sunlight. I want to try the shade 8RC, but it's never in stock, and even 7CG needs to be ordered. After using this dye, my hair looks incredibly shiny.
I bought this hair dye for the first time, and I really liked it. My hair doesn't feel dry after using it. The color is a beautiful chocolate shade.
I have been using this paint for a long time, and it never disappoints. When applied correctly, the color always turns out amazing. Thank you.
I ordered 5bv hair dye. My hair color is cool 6. I used a 6% developer, but my roots turned out red and the color washed out very quickly. For the second coloring, I used a 3% developer in a tone-on-tone shade. The color is a beautiful cool brown with a slight hint of red. Surprisingly, even with a 10% developer, it still covers gray hair and doesn't darken like other dyes. The dye doesn't stain the skin during the coloring process, making it suitable for people with allergies. Next time, I want a cooler shade, but the current selection is limited.
Great paint, been using it for many years. Natural shade, it fades a bit and becomes lighter. Overall, it's very good!
The paint doesn't have a strong odor. I liked the result of shade 4.72. The shade turned out to be a beautiful dark brown (on my chestnut hair) with a hint of dark cherry. My hair is shiny.
I have naturally chestnut hair with about 10% gray. I dye it in a light golden copper blond. I mixed 8C with 8G, combining the golden shade with the copper one in equal proportions. I was afraid to use 8CC, the deep copper shade, as I thought it would turn out too red. I'm glad I added the golden shade because the copper one doesn't look copper at all, it's more like chestnut. I ended up with a chestnut color with a hint of gold. It's a bit dark, lacking in copper. Next time, I will probably mix in some 8CC after all. The gray hair was partially covered.
I tried the shade 4M, a brown mocha color, with a 6% developer. It covered my grey hair nicely. I didn't achieve the same effect with the ammonia-free series and a 3% developer.
Good paint, I have bought it more than once. I order the 10P shade for tinting. The color applies well and covers the regrowth of gray roots. I am satisfied with the result.
The hair dye is soft and the hair looks good afterwards, but the color is a complete disaster. I bought 10av + 9%, hoping to get rid of the yellow tones (since ash and violet should do that). But the result was a yellow chick. I never had this issue even with my natural undertone when using other dyes (I previously colored my hair with Italian ones). So, I'll have to neutralize the yellow with a violet mask from Estel and next time I'll go for 10sp + 10mm.
I buy 3n and 6% hair dye. It covers grey hair and fades slowly. Before, I used to dye my roots every 3 weeks, but with this hair dye, I can confidently go for 4 weeks without touch-ups.
The color palette is beautiful, but it does not cover gray hair. Despite using a natural shade with a 6% developer, it did not provide the desired result. I had hoped that the third attempt would be successful, but unfortunately, it wasn't.
I purchased 5N. The color was suitable. However, it did not cover my grey hair with 6% developer. I will not buy it again.
