For curly thin hair, it is weak. It doesn't give much volume. It holds, but not very strongly.

The gel does not provide any strong hold. Despite all the claims of it being super mega strong, it actually holds quite average.

I really liked it. It effortlessly holds my thin and unruly hair in place.
