Foundation - Revlon ColorStay for Combination/Oily Skin SPF 15
I really liked the foundation, it works well for my combination/oily skin and stays on perfectly. However, I did not choose the right shade. I bought shade 180 on sale, but it turned out to be too dark. If someone is interested in this shade, I can sell it.
So far, I really like it. It has a light texture and provides enough coverage and mattifying effect for me. What's most important, I have sensitive skin so I was afraid of having an allergic reaction or irritation. But everything is good. I highly recommend this cream.
The cream is light and not bad, but it doesn't cover all the imperfections. Personally, I mix it with another foundation, but overall it's okay.
I have been using this foundation for many years, and it does a great job of concealing imperfections, evening out my skin tone, and staying on throughout the day. However, I was really disappointed when I received the last one with vitamin E. After a couple of hours, my face looked like it was smeared with oil. It's a shame that they ruined my favorite foundation.
I have now switched to a CC cream, but before that, I used to buy this one. It has an excellent coverage and conceals any imperfections. I adjusted the density using a sponge.
Causes terrible rashes. Definitely not suitable for problematic skin. It stays relatively well on oily skin, but that's where all the advantages of this product end... in the trash.
I have been using this product for many years. It works well on oily skin and provides good coverage. The latest version now includes vitamin E, which I found to be a nice addition. However, I have noticed that it seems to result in a quicker appearance of shine on my skin.
I didn't buy it here, but after using it for six months, I can say that it's my favorite. It works great for oily and acne-prone skin, providing excellent coverage. The only downside is that the shade 110 ivory was initially somewhat lighter for me, but over time, it started oxidizing to a reddish tone. I mix in some adjusters. I used to have it in shade 130, which had a slightly more yellow undertone, but it didn't turn reddish like this one.
No foundation in this price range suited me like Revlon. This time, I received a more liquid shade, whereas the previous one was thick and dense. However, when blended, it became more creamy in texture. The longevity and quality of the foundation remained unchanged. It applies just as well and stays on the skin without drying or emphasizing flaws. It also does not oxidize, which is very important.
This is terrible. The water disappears throughout the day, accentuating flakes and sinking into the pores.
This product is dense, applies smoothly, provides excellent coverage, and performs well throughout the day. It is a great find for my oily skin. It's not easy to guess the shade. I chose 340, which only suits me when my skin is tanned. I will definitely get another shade. The foundation is excellent! I am attaching photos taken in natural light, with flash, and without flash.
I have shade 390. It is suitable for slightly tanned skin. However, it also adjusts slightly, so it will suit a medium skin tone (not dark or fair-skinned).
The finish is from medium to full coverage. But don't expect it to magically cover everything. It mattifies and provides coverage, but at the same time, it leaves a little "naturalness" to the skin.
The consumption is higher compared to, for example, Catrice HD liquid coverage (040).
It applies nicely.
However, I deduct 2 stars because the matte effect doesn't last long. It is claimed to be matte, but after an hour, the skin starts to shine. I wouldn't say I have extremely oily skin, but it's moderately oily. However, it fails to control sebum and maintain a matte finish. It is what it is.
But overall, the packaging, consistency, and application are good.
If you are willing to touch up, powder, etc. throughout the day, or if you only need it for a short outing to the store or a walk, then it is a decent purchase.
I don't even know which one it is already, there were Maybelline, Loreal, and bourgeois... but none of them are quite right! I really like it.
Awful foundation.
Good day. Please add a color palette.
Tetiana, here is a photo of the shade 240 "medium beige".
Great foundation, has a lightweight texture. I have oily and problematic skin, but this cream conceals imperfections and my makeup stays intact until the end of the day. I slightly missed the shade (got 240), but I ordered a lighter one and will mix them. I highly recommend it!
This foundation is excellent – it's easy to apply and it lasts all day. I am extremely satisfied with both the price and the quality, they are superb!
Durable for my combination skin. Covers blemishes and acne.
Great foundation for oily skin, it works well with contour, blush, and so on. Everything stays in place throughout the evening. However, it may accentuate dry patches.
My favorite cream, I've been using it for about 3 years now. It can be a little drying on the skin, so it's best to apply it on moisturized face. The longevity is excellent, it doesn't wash off with water.
This is a very good cream. I have oily skin, and the cream keeps it mattified all day. It doesn't emphasize my pores. The shade "natural beige 220" is neither too dark nor too light, so it will suit many people.
Long-lasting - superb! It lasts the whole day, you don't even need touch-ups. It slightly dries out the skin.
Great foundation. Shade 220. Doesn't make me look pink or red. I have a medium skin tone, so I always go for the beige shade. My skin is mature, and this foundation was a perfect match. The texture is quite liquid, but it applies smoothly and feels gentle without drying out my skin. I can't comment on the coverage since I don't have any major skin imperfections. My face looks velvety and the tone is even.
This is an excellent foundation. It provides good coverage, feels lightweight on the skin, and lasts quite a long time, even on oily skin.
Highlights flakes.
Does not cover redness. Gets stuck in folds.
Not particularly long-lasting, even with primer.
This foundation is my love for the past 5 years. No matter what other ones I try, I always come back to this one with the thought of "oh, I forgot how great you are. And you even have SPF."
I have problematic skin with oily shine in the T-zone, and this area also flakes. But this foundation always handles it the best. It doesn't make my skin shine, but it also doesn't emphasize the flakes. It's magic, in one word.
In the photo, I just applied the foundation without a primer and blended it with my finger (my hands are dry). But usually, I use a primer and a damp beauty blender because the foundation is of a thick consistency.
Some girls wrote that the foundation became watery and changed color, but I was lucky and mine came EXACTLY THE SAME as the shade from the old batches, with the old design.
This is a great foundation that covers all imperfections. Shade 110 is perfect for fair-skinned individuals. I highly recommend it.
1. The durability of this product is quite impressive, especially on oily skin prone to shine on the forehead. You don't need to touch up your makeup for at least 6 hours.
2. Many reviews mentioned the density and mask-like effect of this product. I don't know how they managed to create a mask-like effect with a semi-waterproof concealer.
3. I have the shade 220, and it matches perfectly (assuming there is no tan). Despite its lightweight texture, it provides excellent coverage for my skin tone. However, it's best to blend it in with a sponge.
I purposely applied the product next to my veins with a brush for the photo to show the coverage. It effectively conceals any bluish discoloration.
The best foundation in its price range. It lasts flawlessly for 16 hours.
I tried this product during the summer in shade 200. It applied smoothly, provided good coverage, and did not accentuate any skin flakiness. Consequently, I decided to order shade 110 for the winter. However, I was disappointed as it applied in patches, accentuated my skin flakiness, and looked really bad on my face.
What an amazing foundation! It's love!
I used to use Katris, but that nonsense disappeared from the Ukrainian market. I was extremely disappointed because finding something that suits me is very difficult, and then, by chance, I came across this miracle...
I apply it on a base with a damp sponge. It's been half a day already, and it feels like I just did my makeup.
I have combination skin with some flakiness. It doesn't emphasize anything with the base and doesn't clog pores. In short - it's a new love!!!
The foundation matched perfectly! However, it is suitable only for combination and oily skin types, and it is necessary to apply a base or moisturizer before applying the foundation. The coverage and density are average, making it suitable for everyday use. It holds up well throughout the day without smudging or oxidizing. I highly recommend it, especially for those with oily skin!
I understand that the packaging may have changed from the manufacturer, but the shade and consistency... Previously, the tone was dense and thick, but today I purchased a new one, and it is liquid and semi-transparent. It separates with some liquid and the shade is not beige with an olive undertone, but a warm beige with a yellow tint...
Not a bad foundation!
It mattifies well and covers minor imperfections.
The shade 320 is a perfect match for tanned skin!
This product is excellent! I highly recommend it. It provides great coverage without weighing down or appearing heavy on the skin. I believe that not only the packaging but also the formula has been improved, making it even better than the previous version.
The foundation is really good, and it's even affordable. It's not too heavy, so it won't hide all imperfections. However, it evens out the skin tone nicely. I apply it on top of a makeup base, and it stays on really well and lasts a long time! I have the shade 110 because I have fair skin, slightly on the lighter side, but it will be perfect for winter.
This product is absolutely terrible. It does not apply smoothly at all, even though I only have minor skin issues. The consistency is extremely watery and it highlights every single flake and imperfection on my skin. I definitely won't be purchasing it again.
This product is very thin and doesn't provide any coverage, not even for redness. I appreciate the fast delivery and the mattifying effect it gives.
The foundation perfectly suited my combination problem skin. It stays on flawlessly with a primer, even in hot weather and rain. It is currently my favorite, surpassing my previous use of Loreal and Bourjois. Revlon has exceeded all expectations.
I ordered this foundation based on good reviews. However, I don't understand what the problem is with the quality: whether it's the batch or if it's really as they wrote in the comments below, from the country of manufacture (R.S.A.). It looks like a cheap drugstore foundation on the face. But the delivery of makeup is always the best.
I constantly purchase this cream. It is a lifesaver for my problematic and oily skin. When applying it, it doesn't completely mattify, so I use powder in the T-zone. It is long-lasting, and throughout the day, I can touch up problem areas with mattifying wipes.
I have problematic combination skin.
I ordered shade 150 (15spf). I really liked the foundation, it stays on all day and covers imperfections. However, I didn't guess the right shade.
I ordered shade 180 (15spf). Excitedly, I opened it and realized that the consistency of the cream is different, and also the design is different (it says 24 hours and has a dark lid).
The customer service hotline claimed that the manufacturer can change the formula, among other things. (There are many similar reviews about receiving different creams).
Everything is fine, the cream is not bad (but still not the same as the first one).
So, the difference in the cream is due to the manufacturer. The first one indicates "Made in U.S.A", while the second one is "R.S.A" (Republic of South Africa).
That's the reason for the difference in the cream. And the makeup brand states "USA" as the country of brand registration.
This is an excellent foundation. I have oily skin with enlarged pores in the T-zone, and it mattifies beautifully. It applies smoothly and doesn't clog pores. I've been using it for a month and haven't had any breakouts. Before applying, I moisturize my skin and use a primer. The shade 180 without any pink undertones is perfect for those with fair skin. However, there is one drawback - it only lasts for 5-6 hours before starting to slide off my nose. I use blotting papers and powder, which helps. I have tried expensive foundations (not here), but they couldn't handle my skin. For me, this is the best foundation. Thank you.
This product is terrible, I have been using this foundation for 3 years and it has never been like this before. The consistency is watery and it doesn't cover evenly. I ordered shades 200 and 300 and I am just puzzled. The previous foundation I used was moderately thick, it applied smoothly and covered small imperfections perfectly. What I received now... I have no words, and as for the comment "The manufacturer has changed the formula at their discretion", it is not a valid argument in this case. I doubt the authenticity of the product, and if this is the "new formula", then the changes are definitely not for the better. I wasted my money.
I never get tired of writing positive reviews. This is the best foundation. It surpasses expensive ones in terms of quality. Until now, I used to use shade 110 - ivory, but I decided to switch to shade 150 - buff. Shade 110 has a slight pink undertone, while shade 150 is a natural beige shade. Both are suitable for fair skin. Now even my mom is using it. Definitely a 5-star product.
To be honest, it didn't work for me at all. I have normal skin, but somehow this foundation emphasizes any dryness, even the one you didn't suspect. In terms of consistency, it reminds me of a Fit Me foundation, but a greasier version. It's like the pigment is floating in some oil. It doesn't stay on my face at all. I don't know what the previous version was like, but I don't recommend the one they are currently releasing.
This foundation is excellent - it matches my skin tone perfectly and provides great coverage. It looks beautiful on the skin and has a pleasant scent.
I bought shade 150, which is very light. The foundation is very liquid and has a scent. I was expecting more, so I will be buying a different foundation.
This foundation is no longer the same as it used to be. It is very watery, and at first, I thought it might have expired. It's not my cup of tea anymore, and I won't buy it again!
