I washed it with Garnier Magnetic Charcoal shampoo (twice) and applied the mask from root to tip, covering it with a cap and towel. I left it on for 15 minutes and then blow-dried it. I decided to try this shampoo from this series and also bought this mask based on the great reviews. However, I personally didn't like these products at all!
