Body Tanning Mousse - St. Moriz Medium Tanning Mousse
I will start by saying that I have a lot of experience with self-tanning products, I have been using them for a long time, and I know how to do it properly. Out of all the brands, I liked the Mus the most, but the medium shade (the dark one also leaves streaks). So, I decided to try this gradual tanning series as I heard very positive reviews about it. At first, I was satisfied with the initial result, but after 4 days, it started to fade and I ended up looking like a leopard! I have never experienced such horror before, not even with the most reliable self-tanner.
This product is really great. I applied it with a glove from the same brand after exfoliating overnight. In the morning, a uniform bronze shade appeared without any spots. My own skin is snow-white.
I really liked it. Even more than the one with tinted pigment.
For those reading the review, please keep in mind that everyone's skin is different, and this review is about mine)))
GOOD:
Firstly, it has good lasting power - despite taking multiple hot showers throughout the day, the tan stays. Secondly, the color is quite dark. I was afraid that the "medium-dark" shade would be more medium and not show up much.
Thirdly, it doesn't have any tinted pigment. With tinted pigments, it's convenient to see where you've applied the product, but it heavily stains my pores. I can see it clearly as black dots in places where I have pores (like the chest), especially in daylight.
Fourthly, it surprisingly applies very evenly. I applied it with my hands, although there is a mitt available. I washed my hands, and everything was fine afterwards.
Lastly, how it fades. Some self-tanners from this brand have peeled off in chunks on me, even though I read in reviews that others didn't have this issue. But I could clearly see patches on my neck. It was like a nuisance. But I haven't noticed this with this product yet.
As for the downsides, I already have very dry skin, and these self-tanners make it even drier. If I forget to moisturize, it doesn't turn out very well.
