I purchased the #001 base with a matte effect. This is my first base, so I don't have much to compare it to. Previously, I only used a base when getting my makeup done by a professional makeup artist. However, I noticed a difference in usage - when applying my foundation "on bare skin," after 3-4 hours, it would start to shine on my face and I had to use blotting papers or powder my face. This effect was not included with the base, but with this base, my foundation lasted 10 hours without shining or sliding off. I liked the scent of the base, it smelled somewhat floral to me. It applies easily, like a regular moisturizer. I apply it with my fingers on prepared skin, wait a couple of minutes, and then apply my foundation with a damp sponge. Questions for the manufacturer and makeup. It arrived without the tube inside that should dispense the product, how am I supposed to use it????? Terrible.
Good base, creates a light matte finish, amazing scent that lasts throughout the day, very pleasant on the skin, and gives a slight cooling sensation upon application, refreshing the skin. Very satisfied with the effect.

The scent is similar to that of glue and the texture is also the same. I didn't see any matte effect on the skin at all. I really love Topface products, but this one didn't appeal to me, perhaps it just didn't suit me.
