Decolorant System - Vip's Prestige Color Off
I used this product three times on my long and black hair. I also used it on my slightly yellowish hair. Overall, it successfully accomplished its purpose for me, and my hair remains in good condition.
The 4.0 developer did not work at all on my hair tone. This is surprising because I have always used professional hair dye and a 3% developer. The expiration date is until 2026, and everything is neatly packaged. I don't understand why it didn't work.
Decolorant, not a bad thing. It removed dark chestnut, I wanted to achieve my own color, the dark faded. A reddish pigment remained. I followed the instructions and left it on for 30 minutes. I think the product did its job well.
The smell is quite strong, but I dyed my hair red a year ago, then with a red tonic and into a chocolate color. I thought nothing would help my hair anymore, but the red and chocolate washed off the first time (before that, I washed my hair and the water was still red, so even though it was chocolate, it had a red tint and it settled well on the hair). As for the red color, I'm not sure yet because I just washed off the product, so I'll wait until it dries and oxidizes, but I'm already very satisfied with the result. (One thing to note is that one jar was very crushed, but the box was intact.)
Hello everyone. I was hesitant for a long time whether to buy this product or not. There were many different reviews. But a failed dyeing, which left stains, decided everything for me) I have porous, curly hair. I was afraid of overprocessing or something else. The smell is specific, but not worse than any other dye. Hair length - shoulder blades. Half a bottle was enough. The instructions were clear, I did everything quickly. I left it on for half an hour, rinsed it off. I thought it would wash out with the dye, like brown water, but no. It's just clear. And the old dye was as if it wasn't there) Hair is soft, not dry. Very satisfied! Go ahead and take it, don't hesitate!
I will share my impressions of this product. I must say that I didn't expect a perfect result, as my daughter's hair was toned with a toner, not dye. It has been toned multiple times before and the colors were already very different. She wanted to dye it green, but the previous red color didn't want to fade for a long time, so we decided to try rinsing it first and then dyeing it all on the same day. The rinse worked partially, the hair was very thick, and the color didn't fade much underneath but it faded quite well on top. We toned it on the same day. Overall, it was without any problems, but the color turned out differently in different areas. Where the hair was darker, it became dark green, and on top, it was brighter. My daughter is satisfied, so I believe the rinse did its job. I didn't take any before and after photos. I didn't think about it and didn't expect much of a result.
Sometimes, certain comments are very impressive, and I hope that most people approach them with a critical mindset. Any hair color removal procedure will cause some damage to the hair. The question is, what was the condition of the hair before this, what type of dye was used, how long, and what is the hair type in general?
I have done the color removal procedure about 6 times with three different brands over the course of 2 years, and I want to say that this one in particular has a more pleasant smell, although it is quite specific. For girls with very dark hair, especially if they have used store-bought dyes like Eva or Prostor, the result of the removal process can vary greatly, and it is not always possible to achieve the desired effect with just one removal. Also, if you have experimented with different coloring techniques, direct pigments, and henna before this, no one considers that all of this also remains in the history of your hair.
I had a shade of 6-7, a light chestnut color. Prior to this, I had a shade of 7 warm, honey color for quite a while. My hair is shoulder-length, so one box was enough for two removals that I did on the same day with a 30-minute break. My hair is in good condition, it is thin but not porous. I diluted the first removal solution slightly more than half, and the second time I focused on the length. I bought a dye that was two shades lighter than desired. I wanted a 7 ash tone, but I bought 9.11.
After two removals, the color turned out to be reddish. I dyed my hair after 24 hours.
In my opinion, this is a fairly gentle way to correct the color.
It works, but not that great, and the hair feels a bit tired after using it. I don't recommend it.
I have no complaints about the Make up! Fast delivery, quality service! I ordered recently and I am satisfied with everything! Thank you.
Now about the Decolorant. I will write as it is, and then you can decide for yourself!
I decided to remove the dye from my hair that I had been coloring for a year with "Syoss Oleo Intense 3-10 - Deep Chestnut". I wanted to return to my natural color. As a result, it turned out that the dye had accumulated (especially at the ends) because after a year, I had become black with a violet shade. Later, I realized that all of this was due to the incorrect dyeing process! Based on the reviews, I chose this "Decolorant" Vip's Prestige Color Off. The result was not what I wanted, but it surprised me. BUT...in the photo, you can see the "Before" and the number "7" which is the attempt that led to this result. I followed the instructions exactly!
The product is good, it does its job, if of course, you have the patience to do the rinsing for several days (I divided it into six packages, using one twice without touching the roots). The smell is something, it reminded me of the smell of "sewer," especially when the hair is wet. It honestly smelled bad to me, but it may vary from person to person! It took me a long time to get rid of it!
It does dry the hair a little, but with conditioner (the one you are used to using), you can fix it.
As a result, I had no strength left and decided to finally achieve the desired result through lightening. I bought "Syoss Professional Performance 13-0 - Ultra - Lightener (9 Levels of Lightening)", and then dyed it in the color that was close to my natural hair color, "Syoss Oleo Intense 6-10 - Dark Blonde".
In conclusion, for its price, the product is good, it doesn't damage the hair too much, but if you are in my situation, you need to rinse a lot and for a long time!
If anyone is interested, I can provide photos after each rinse, lightening, and final dyeing.
It was during the day, and this is under artificial lighting. Just wow. However, I think it will darken. Well, or I will dye it, taking, let's say, shade 7... and it will turn out dark again. Unfortunately.
Girls, I am writing to warn you.
Yes, this product really helps to get rid of dye, but unlike others, it affects natural hair. Now my brown hair is red((
I have had experience with other bleach products, but this is the first time this has happened.
I really liked this product, it does its job! The scent is a bit strong, but you can endure it for the sake of the results.
After unsuccessful experiments with hair dye, it became too dark. I decided to try this "hair color remover". I am satisfied with the result. The color washed out. Now I can dye my hair in my favorite color. The smell is tolerable. There was enough product (even too much), my hair reaches below my shoulders, but it is not thick. I am attaching a photo "before" and "after".
The smell, of course, is unpleasant, but I didn't expect anything else. The remover did its job perfectly.
The color was dark brown. It turned out similar to auburn. I used half of the product and left it on for exactly 30 minutes. My hair wasn't damaged, it remained the same as before. In short, I highly recommend it.
According to the instructions, the mixture is applied to wet, washed hair, towel-dried... I was surprised to read in the reviews that it can be applied to dry hair. I wouldn't risk experimenting like that. I needed to remove a stubborn dark chestnut color, but it only washed out to a reddish shade... I divided the package into two uses (my hair is medium length)... the first time, I applied it from roots to ends... after a few hours, mainly on the ends. I can say that it works. However, the smell is really awful (especially when the hair starts to dry). In my opinion, it definitely doesn't smell like rotten eggs. It's something in between vomit or a mix of fruity fragrance with sulphur paste. The smell is persistently unpleasant. I'm curious to see when it will dissipate. I recommend immediately throwing away the packaging and gloves, and taking them out of the house. Also, quickly and thoroughly wash the brush and dishes, or better yet, use disposable ones and throw them away... because the smell lingers.
This product is not bad, but it only removes more recent paint. If you have been dyeing your hair for a long time and consistently using a very dark shade, don't expect any significant results.
Great product, I was able to go from a level 4 to a level 7. I'll show you the color I started with and the base tone after lightening (before toning).
NOTE: Acidic hair wash removes cosmetic pigment and exposes the hair to the base tone (the mixture of remaining red-orange pigments in the hair). After using this acidic hair wash, it is necessary to tone the hair!
I only needed half a tube to remove a very dark brown color from my hair and bring it back to its original shade. I applied it once, and it didn't cause any further discoloration or bring back any dark pigments.
I tried to remove the tinted balm of the same brand, but it had zero effect. It only slightly lightened my natural roots. The smell is specific, but tolerable. I am giving it two stars because it didn't make my hair worse. If you want to lighten your hair, go for a stronger product or go to a salon. Don't expect miracles from this one.
I have been dyeing my hair with Prestige hair dye in the shade "Macogon" for a year. Recently, I decided to remove the color, and it turned into a copper shade (my natural hair color is dark blond). I really like how it turned out, and my hair no longer has that strong smell from the dye after just one day. My hair is curly and dry, but the removal process didn't make them overly dry. I only had to wash it once.
Please bring it quickly, I will keep it as a backup. The other ones didn't work for me at all. Here, there is convenience, comfort in use, smell, texture, volume, price-quality ratio, and most importantly - results. I highly recommend it!
The product actually works. My hair was dyed chestnut, and the strands in the front turned almost black. The decolorizer made my hair slightly lighter, especially near the roots, but the uneven color remained uneven. Perhaps, for a greater effect, it needs to be repeated. The smell is unpleasant, not too strong, but it got absorbed into the hair.
I was able to use it twice. The scent is tolerable. The color has changed, but not significantly - it went from black at the ends to reddish at the roots, becoming a chestnut shade from a lighter to a darker tone. I would have preferred it to be even lighter. My hair is not dry. The delivery was excellent!
It saved my hair! I decided to change something in my appearance, you know, I wanted to have red tips on my chestnut hair, to freshen up for spring... The ends turned out to be sticking out, black with a reddish tint in the sun, it was horrible, really radical!!! Panic, avoiding mirrors, a night of contemplating the meaning of life... and during the day, the makeup courier was already standing at the door with the coveted product (I have never waited for my orders like this before)). Surprisingly, the bleach did the job, it got rid of the horrible black-reddish (I kept it on for a maximum of 15 minutes), and I didn't even have to tone it, I just watched the process and it was a lifesaver on my natural shade!!! The smell is quite tolerable! The instructions are detailed and easy to understand. I recommend it to anyone who loves experiments!
I haven't used this bleach specifically, but I am 99% sure that it works just like its counterparts. And I want to defend it:
1. Does it have an unpleasant smell? Yes, but what did you expect? It's a chemical, should they add fragrances to it? Adding fragrance might not cover the smell and could even disrupt the composition.
2. Does it completely remove black dye? Oh, really? That's surprising)))
I've tried different acid-based removers, both cheap and expensive, and they remove even worse and also damage the hair =/
To remove two shades of black dye and achieve a chestnut-red color, this is a victory, ladies and gentlemen! It's a normal practice. It can't and shouldn't do anything more.
IMPORTANT: This bleach removes artificial pigment from ammonia-based dyes (it might be somewhat effective on other dyes, but not to a great extent). It won't remove your natural pigment. It won't make you a blonde!
Bleach is the first step in lightening. You can use it up to 2 times in one session. After that, if you want to add color further, you should use the so-called "supra" - powder with developer. Bleach is NOT A LIGHTENER!
It doesn't wash off very well and has a strong unpleasant smell. I have washed my hair three times already, but the odor still lingers. It hasn't completely washed off the black color. I would have preferred to use Brelil or Estel instead :(
I used this hair bleach remover three times to remove black dye and achieved a moderately reddish-brown shade. It lightened my hair by approximately two shades. I purchased two packages, and each package can be used twice.
