The file is good, when I used it only for myself - it lasted almost half a year. Now I also use it for my mom and sister, and I try to get new ones every time. It's not that it stops filing, but the abrasive wears out quickly in the area of active use and it looks somehow unpresentable.

The nail file is good for its price, indeed slightly stiffer than others.
