The smell is unusual but interesting. I have blonde hair that reaches my shoulders, which is partially sun-damaged, partially dry, and partially lightened. This hair mask is nothing special for my hair. It is weaker than even the cheapest conditioner. It doesn't distribute easily through the hair (as if it lacks an oily base), so I have to keep dipping into the jar. It rinses out easily, as if it's not even a mask at all. It doesn't make combing easier, and I often have to use my hands to untangle my hair. I haven't experienced this with other masks. On the positive side, it smells good, rinses out easily, and is affordable.
