Burdock Power Hair Mask - Domashniy Doktor
This mask is fantastic! It contains 5 oils and has a divine scent - it smells like honey and herbs, but the smell quickly dissipates and is not overpowering. I use this mask specifically for the popular method of co-washing (washing the hair with conditioner instead of shampoo) - I wet my hair with warm water, thoroughly massage this mask into the roots and hair, and then rinse it out. I don't need anything else - my hair comes out NOT GREASY, NOT WEIGHED DOWN, and at the same time SO NOURISHED with oils that it's easy to comb even when wet, which is important to me! No need for additional shampoo, conditioner, or leave-in products. It's easy to comb and style into a voluminous hairstyle using curlers. For those who are not familiar with co-washing, I highly recommend giving it a try - it may work for some and not for others, but personally, I have become a fan. The only advice I would give to those it suits is to alternate between washing with regular shampoo and conditioner and using only silicone-free conditioner. Everything in moderation!
I didn't understand the mask at all. The ends were stiff before and remained stiff, while the rest of my hair, which was soft, turned stiff. I have thin, non-porous, non-colored hair. Next time, I will try applying the mask to a separate strand for 10-15 minutes and see what happens.
